Scene from a RESIDENT EVIL mod for GRAND THEFT AUTO – SAN ANDREAS. Looks like a scene from TOOTH AND NAIL so I wanted to post it.

“I Hate This, Do You Like It?” by Chickenhawk

Great music video about the zombie apocalypse where the infection is spreading as fast as the news about it. (I love the guy’s expression at 0.54s. That’s exactly what I’d be doing.)

Zombie Book: THE UNDEAD by John Russo

January 22, 2011 by Craig DiLouie Leave a Comment

the undead by john russoNIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD co-creator John Russo is not as famous as George Romero, and has had a huge impact on the horror genre. He later worked on the RETURN OF THE LIVING DEAD series. In 1974, Warner Books published his novelization of NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD. Now it’s available with RETURN OF THE LIVING DEAD in a single volume titled THE UNDEAD.

RETURN OF THE LIVING DEAD did not capture my interest but the 1974 novelization of NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD is amazing. The story is dramatically retold in a way that is faithful to the classic film that started it all but also completely fresh and, in many ways, more exciting, fun and realistic than the film. Recommended.

It’s certainly not for the squeamish, but then neither is the horror genre. If you want to see what zombies would really look and smell like, check it out.
