Explore TOOTH AND NAIL In An Exciting Role-Playing Game

Tooth and Nail by Craig DiLouieI would like to invite you to join me for a special online event. In it, you will have the opportunity to creatively experience the dire events of my novel TOOTH AND NAIL. The event will take the form of a role-playing game, meaning that you will be able to decide the actions of your own character reacting interactively to the story as it evolves.

If you aren’t sure how role-playing games work, rest assured that the event will be very friendly to newcomers. And everything you need to know will be explained beforehand. The event itself will be held on Sunday, October 11 from 12PM to 3PM Pacific Time. Registration for the event is closing soon. If you have any questions (about the event, role-playing, or otherwise) please email brad@rpglory.com.

There is a $60 fee that will go towards helping the event organizer, RPGlory.com, host this and future events with both myself and other authors.

The Map of Zombies

The Map of Zombies is a Kickstarter project, with its creator, Jason Thompson, asking for $1,000 to print up a bunch of these 24 in. x 36 in. posters. Drawn in the style of a vintage medical chart, the Map of Zombies seeks to catalog the incredible diversity of creatures called zombie. If you’re a Romero purist, it’s the kind of thing that could give you a seizure, but for the rest of us, it’s a lot of fun to see how popular zombies are and how they are portrayed in pop culture. Slow zombies, fast zombies, Nazi zombies, animal zombies, funny zombies, romantic zombies, it’s got it all. The project has already raised about $16,000, way beyond Jason’s goal. I was happy to see my novels TOOTH AND NAIL and THE INFECTION included in the fast-moving “rage” zombie category, with THE INFECTION earning its own subgenre, “rage zombie slaves of giant alien monsters.” (Not quite accurate, but I’ll take it!)

TOOTH AND NAIL (German cover shown here) will be published by Luzifer in December 2013. THE INFECTION and THE KILLING FLOOR will be published by Heyne in 2014, with the first scheduled for April 2014.
