The John Lewis Christmas Ad Parody 2015 (The Dark Side Version) from The Poke on Vimeo.
In “Just Me in the House by Myself,” the first episode of the new comedy web series :DRYVRS by Jack Dishel, Mcauley Culkin reprises his role of Kevin from the 1990 Christmas movie HOME ALONE.
In that film, Kevin, at the age of eight, was left by himself by accident by his parents for a week. During that time, he has to fight off two comically inept burglars.
Years later, Kevin shows up as an Uber driver and recounts the story to his passenger. Clearly, it messed him up.
Clearly, he’s got some issues to work out.
Dark and hilarious. Check it out:
A little weirdness for your Wednesday.
Be sure to check out this extraordinary filmmaker’s YouTube channel here. I enjoyed watching his films ALICE and FAUST.
