Last December, MyModernMet.com did a short writeup on the art of photographer Lori Nix, whose amazing collection of work, “The City,” was on display at the time at New York City’s ClampArt gallery. Fascinated with the idea of a disaster that would result in human artifacts outliving humans, she began creating miniature apocalyptic dioramas and shooting them with traditional 8×10 film. These dioramas range from 50×60 cm and 182×182 cm.
