Author Jonathan Maberry pulls together a large number of authors and artists in the apocalyptic horror genre, including Max Brooks, Joe McKinney, John Russo, myself and others, to form a virtual panel answering a number of questions about the zombie horror genre. His first post poses the question: “Zombies continue to grow in popularity despite predictions that the genre is–ahem–‘dead’. Why?”
Check out the answers here.
The zombie genre i think will continue to grow styles, types of zombies, cause of infection, etc will continue to evolve, but i dont think itl ever get “dead”. Because people will always be fascinated with the dead or should i say”lack thereof ” because i think deep down its everyones worst nightmare to be one of those wondering around unalive souless ones, with no humanity at all
