THE WALKING DEAD Spinoff Looks Promising

January 23, 2015 by Craig DiLouie Leave a Comment

Great idea for a spinoff for THE WALKING DEAD. Show the outbreak of the zombie virus and how it slowly destroys the world from the perspective of two separate groups of people, one a dysfunctional family, and an outlying character. These are average people with problems and plans, all of which will be rendered irrelevant by the demands of survival delayed by denial.

While post-apocalypse makes for a fun story, the actual apocalypse–the slow but accelerating collapse–is much more exciting and has a lot of great potential. Count me curious.

Bloodydisgusting.com has the story here. More about the characters here.
