THE DEMENTED (2013)

June 5, 2014 by Craig DiLouie Leave a Comment

THE DEMENTED tells the story of six college friends enjoying a carefree weekend at one of their parent’s homes. A terrorist attack results in most of the people in the area becoming zombies, putting them to flight. Can they escape, and if so, to what?

THE DEMENTED is a fun zombie film that frequently made me lose interest because the characters simply weren’t that compelling for me and the zombie action, while interesting, wasn’t strong enough to keep me involved. On the plus side, the zombies were pretty well done, and overall I enjoyed it. Compared to most lower-budget zombie movies, it’s actually pretty good. The ending has a good gotcha.
