Novel: ROBOPOCALYPSE

July 4, 2011 by Craig DiLouie 1 Comment

robopocalypse by daniel h wilsonROBOPOCALYPSE is WORLD WAR Z with robots (which in turn is really WARDAY with zombies). An AI escapes the lab and infects the world’s machines, deciding that humanity must go. The characters in the stories tie together in an effort to avoid a criticism of WWZ, which is that it was kinda shallow. However, even so, ROBOPOCALYPSE is still not very deep. But fun, certainly–think Michael Crichton, not WWZ. Worth a read.
