In LAST STAND IN A DEAD LAND by Eric S. Brown, a small band of survivors fleeing a city during the zombie apocalypse end up in farmlands infested with zombies and something that might be even more dangerous–Bigfoot. Brown, author of BIGFOOT WAR and numerous zombie novels, delivers a high-speed, high-octane, tightly focused story about survival against almost impossible odds, mixing his two trademark passions as a writer. Honestly, he throws everything at the reader in brutal, unflinching prose. At the end, I was about to say, “He threw in everything but the kitchen sink!”, when suddenly he did. Eric Brown is the king of zombie pulp.
