Fukushima Plant’s Continuing Threat To The World

May 23, 2012 by Craig DiLouie Leave a Comment

I’m a HUGE FAN of nuclear power, but insist on guarantees that it will never fail and, say, make entire continents uninhabitable. Since I cannot be given such a guarantee, I’m a HUGE OPPONENT of nuclear power.

Case in point: Remember the big earthquake in Japan that disrupted the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant? Well, it turns out that we’re not out of the woods yet on that one. In fact, Reactor 4 is still exposed to the elements about a hundred feet above ground, and another big earthquake could, well, KILL ALMOST EVERYBODY IN JAPAN AND/OR NORTH AMERICA AND/OR THE WORLD.
