DOGHOUSE (2009)

October 29, 2013 by Craig DiLouie Leave a Comment

In DOGHOUSE, a British zombie comedy, Vince is depressed over his recent divorce. Six of his friends, who have problems with women on their own, decided to take him to a remote village where the female:male population is supposed to be 4 to 1. When they arrive in the town, they discover a biological agent has turned the female residents into man-hating zombie cannibals, and find themselves fighting to survive.

DOGHOUSE has its humorous moments, but is pretty messy and convoluted and filled with stereotypes, and in my view it doesn’t stack up against better comedies like SHAUN OF THE DEAD and COCKNEYS VERSUS ZOMBIES.
