Several years ago, I self published a book titled THE THIN WHITE LINE. The book is written in a nonfiction style and describes a flu pandemic that has already occurred in the year 2012. It reads like a book version of the film CONTAGION, combining the stories and firsthand accounts of individuals with historical and clinical descriptions of how the pandemic would impact my adopted country of Canada. Everything in the book is researched in painstaking detail, and footnoted; the pandemic’s effect on Canada itself was modeled and analyzed using a simple Department of Health model. If a severe pandemic influenza strain ever strikes, this is very likely what it would look like.

Until now, the book has been available in paperback on Amazon. But now, I’m pleased to say, it’s available FREE for Kindle and other eBook readers thanks to the incredible efforts of Gary Munford, who donated his time and energies to make this happen, and to whom I owe a huge thanks.
