The Taste of Local Authors event, featuring eight Calgary authors at the Owl’s Nest bookstore, was terrific. Great authors, including my girl Chris Marrs, reading short excerpts to a packed audience. I read from THE ALCHEMISTS, Chris from WILDWOMAN.

I’ll be reading from THE ALCHEMISTS tonight at Owl’s Nest Books in Calgary. If you’re local, come out and hear from a whole slew of authors, including the great Robert Sawyer.

On Saturday night, author Chris Marrs and I were happy to host a party celebrating the launch of our books WILDWOMAN, a dark fantasy (Marrs), and THE ALCHEMISTS, a historical fantasy (mine). Local store Owl’s Nest was on hand to sell books to nearly 30 attendees. Thanks to everybody for coming and making the night special!
