The Gas Runs Out in EMPTY

September 2, 2011 by Craig DiLouie 1 Comment

In EMPTY (DVD July 2011), a couple returns from a camping trip on a sour note, as Dell proposed to Piper, but she turned him down. They come back to find the world in the grip of an oil crisis, and their attempt to get home quickly turns into a struggle to stay alive. Beyond the question of whether they are strong enough to survive is whether their love is strong enough for them to come through the crisis together.
