In this short proof-of-concept film, a man witnesses fire rain down from the sun and destroy the world. In the aftermath, he goes to work but realizes something is missing. He dreams of a woman named Isabelle, whom he believes he once loved, and while he catches glimpses of her, he can never find her.

Meanwhile, the city–a futuristic Mexico City–keeps changing, average people begin to lose their minds believing their lives aren’t real, and the narrator begins to question whether his reality is true and whether he’s dreaming.

I’m not sure I understood everything that was intended in this artsy piece, but I enjoyed the ride. It’s beautiful to watch. Check it out:
