NO ROOM IN HELL is a cards-based miniatures zombies wargame actively gamed, with the games blogged, by a gamer named Shelldrake who lives in Australia. It looks like a fun game, and one that appears to be played solo.
Maybe Shelldrake himself will drop by sometime and explain himself how his game works.
Just found your site while looking for other zombie sites.
The game is meant to be played with more than one person, but with minimal effort it can be played solo – I created a card system similar to the wild west wargame rules “The Rules With No Name” for figure activation.
The game isn’t actually a card based activation game – it is an initiative die roll system which doesn’t really work for solo games.
Each player creates a group of survivors, each with stats and skills, that must survive a mass of zombies trying to eat their brains.
The rules have a great campaign game system that let players continue their zombie apocalypse story and develope their survivor characters.
Sounds like fun, Shelldrake. Did you invent it?
No, I can’t take credit for this game – a company called “Iron Ivan Games” publish the rules, which are themselves called “No More Room In Hell”.
I just modified the rules to suit my own needs and took it from there.
