My zombie novels THE INFECTION and its sequel THE KILLING FLOOR, two of Permuted Press’s most successful titles, are back in Permuted Platinum and slated for release as INFECTION WAR: BOOKS I & II through bookstores everywhere January 19, 2016.
Permuted Platinum is a program delivering select Permuted titles to distribution through retail stores like Barnes & Noble. The titles were originally slated for release this year but were dropped. After some conversations with the company’s ownership, they’re back in.
I’m really excited about this release. The books went through a thorough edit and polish for the new edition, and with distribution through Permuted’s partner Simon & Schuster, they’ll be available to many new readers.
As for a third book, I’ve got a stack of projects in front of it, but I’m hoping to revisit the brutal world of THE INFECTION in the future. Stay tuned.

I hope you plan on visiting this world, and some of these characters, in ?he NEAR future! . 🙂 I’m an avid book reader. Since around the age of seven, I’ve been known to pretty much always have a book in my hands. In other words, I’ve read A LOT of books…many of them being aapocalyptic and post-apocalyptic tales. And for all of those that I’ve read, I would have to put yours at ?he top of my list. I’m feeling “infection” withdrawal at having finished both books without anymore to read!
I’ve never asked this of an author before but…I’d really and truly love the opportunity to be a “beta-book-tester”, haha, so to speak, when you do end up with your newest one from this group. I’m a female in her early 30’s with a fairly decent expanse of vocabulary. I’m also straight-forward, open, honest and imaginative. I think that I could be an asset to you for something like this. I actually really, really want to so I hope you not only see this message but that you also keep me in mind for this.
