Forced Mass Inoculations To Defeat A Deadly Virus In EXPOSURE

March 15, 2012 by Craig DiLouie Leave a Comment

In EXPOSURE, a brilliant short film by Mia Trachinger made available online through FutureStates.tv, a deadly disease has swept America. The government responded by inoculating the population through teams of people infected with a mild version of the virus. One such team enters an office building where an anti-inoculation activist works, producing a panicked stampede by people who don’t trust the vaccine. The film raises interesting questions about the role of coercion in public health emergencies, and people’s distrust of vaccines that may be rushed and not properly tested. Check it out below.
