DEAD TIDE RISING By Stephen A. North

Recently finished DEAD TIDE RISING by Stephen A. North. Overall, I found it to be a fun ride. There are a lot of characters whose stories congeal over time, with the action pretty much non-stop, the gore pretty graphic, the best and worst of people in crisis mode on full parade. The book starts during the outbreak and escalates from there as America collapses under a furious onslaught of the dead. North captures the chaos, confusion and violence of collapse very well, creating a fun thriller.
