Interested in writing a work of survival horror? I remember author David Moody talking about his thought process in developing his stories. He said something to this effect: Go into any crowded public place, imagine something or somebody going haywire, and then picture the result. It’s great, simple advice. The best stories in this genre, after all, are those about ordinary people in extraordinary circumstances.
